Asking for the moon

Going into marriage, and after it,  women make a mistake when they ask for the moon. Of course, men promise the moon. But let it remain a promise. Ask for it and invite trouble. Trouble can be anything. It creates friction in marriage and it could lead to divorce.
Basically, marriage is about sex and romance, affection and companionship. It is, certainly, not about extravaganza and over-indulgence. Don't make it a burden on your purse. High expectations kill marriages. Keeping expectations as low as possible is the best thing to keep a marriage afloat.
Remember marriage is a goose that lays golden eggs. But one egg a day. Don't be greedy.
